Recent studies in the field of Surgery
Pathologies of the deep flexor tendon (DFT) within the fetlock flexor tendon sheath (FFTS) are a common and diagnostically challenging cause of lameness, and computed tomography tenography (CTT) is increasingly being used to evaluate intrathecal tendon lesions.
This study aims to investigate the influence of different intrathecal contrast agent volumes and concentrations on the detection and quantitative assessment of lesions of the deep flexor tendon within the flexor tarsalis sheath in horses using computed tomography tenography.
